The Problem & Our Solution

Since September of the previous year, royalties became optional in many marketplaces, leading to an average loss of over 75% of royalty revenue for projects. This financial strain forced many projects to divert from their initial roadmaps.

Re:naissance arises from this chaos. We believe users are willing to pay royalties, provided they see both short-term and long-term benefits. We give projects the tools to inspire and incentivize their communities to pay these royalties, fortifying the creator's revenue stream.

Since then different initiatives have been started to find a solution to the royalty problem. The most prominent solution being programmable NFTs that work by enforcing royalties being paid at the contract level. While this solution has found decent success, it comes with drawbacks especially in terms of permissionlessness and censor ship resistance.

For collections that intentionally decide against pNFTs, we aim to offer an alternative that works by incentivizing users in different ways instead of enforcing royalty payment. We believe that way, collections and their community work on aligning incentives which is helping them build strong and family-like communities.
